As admitted Francophiles, Terri and John modeled Cal-a-Vie’s design to reflect the family’s trips to France. This Provençal style is mirrored throughout the spa, which is decorated with countless French antiques acquired during the Havens’ French buying trips. Cal-a-Vie Health Spa’s award-winning wellness and fitness program was cultivated in part by Terri’s advertising and marketing expertise, along with her natural flair for “Southern Hospitality” and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. With resident and visiting specialists in all fields of health, Cal-a-Vie Health Spa has been voted the number-one “Destination Health Spa in North America” by Travel + Leisure, amongst many others.Leading healthy lifestyles has inspired Terri and John to help others do the same, the duo was set out to create a ‘haven’ in California.
John and Terri Havens have found the perfect balance in owning and operating their own businesses, participating in notable philanthropies, and raising three children. Terri and John continuously acquire, invest, and grow businesses around the United States. John currently serves as the leader of Seismic Exchange, Inc. (SEI), one of North America's most extensive 2D and 3D seismic data firms. John continues to acquire new businesses, but when a personal focus on leading healthy lifestyles inspired Terri and John to help others do the same, they founded the Cal-a-Vie Health Spa and The Havens Country Club (formerly Vista Valley Country Club).
